Nostalgic Overload

Inspired by Susan Kare—creator of the Apple Macintosh graphic icons, this invitation was created for 3 art galleries that would feature Susan Kare’s work. The keywords used to inspire the design of this invitation are retro, lively, and funky. The use of flat and vibrant colours were used to create a nostalgic tone of voice that entices the viewer to want to attend this special art exhibition. By combining flat colours and flashy graphics, this invitation lets the viewer reminisce about promotional posters used in an earlier time period.
